This year, we commemorate the 55th anniversary of the passage of the Fair Housing Act, the landmark civil rights law signed by President Lyndon B. Johnson on April 11, 1968, that made discrimination in housing transactions unlawful. The Fair Housing Act prohibits discrimination in housing because of race, color national origin, religion, sex (including gender identity and sexual orientation), disability, and familial status. HCHA offices will be closed Monday, January 16th in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. We will resume normal hours on Tuesday, January 17th.

HCHA is requesting proposals from qualified vendors to provide Janitorial Services for HCHA’s main office located at 8933 Interchange Dr., Houston, TX 77054. The Harris County Housing Authority (“HCHA”) is requesting quotes for burglary alarm installation and monitoring services at our main office located at 8933 Interchange Dr., Houston, TX 77054,  in accordance with the terms, conditions, and specifications contained in this Request for Quotes (RFQ).
